Essential Duties:
  • Patient assessment and evaluation: Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations and plans of care for patients admitted to the inpatient unit, including assessing mobility, strength, coordination, and functional ability.
  • Supervisory responsibilities: Physical therapy assistants, rehab tech
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation: Create, implement and modify tailored therapeutic interventions to improve patients functional abilities and achieve their therapy goals.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Provide direct physical therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, patient and family education, and use of therapeutic modalities
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and therapy outcomes in accordance with legal and organizational requirements
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
