We are in search of a proficient and dedicated Comprehensive Truck Maintenance Specialist.
In this role, you will be tasked with effectively diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both routine and urgent service needs while providing repair suggestions to clients.
This position requires collaboration with fellow technicians to guarantee that all scheduled tasks are executed safely and to the satisfaction of our clients.
Compensation will be determined based on your experience and expertise.Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying vehicle malfunctions, including disassembling, repairing, and reassembling components as necessary.
- Addressing electrical and pneumatic system challenges.
- Conducting preventive maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of machinery.
- Repairing diesel vehicles, which includes (but is not limited to) engine repairs, alignments, suspension work, hydraulic systems, transmission repairs, and electrical system maintenance.
- Evaluating brake systems, steering components, wheel bearings, and other essential parts to ensure our clients' vehicles are in optimal working condition.
Experience & Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2+ years of experience in servicing heavy machinery and medium to heavy-duty diesel vehicles.
- A solid understanding of EGR/emissions control systems, foundation, air, and ABS brake systems, as well as DC electrical systems.
- Practical experience with Freightliner/Detroit Engines, chassis, drivetrains, hubs, wheel seals, and air conditioning systems.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
