Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our team at Waters International Trucks - Meridian. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and code vendor invoices with proper vendor numbers
  • Match up packing slips with vendor invoices
  • Input vendor invoices into our accounting system
  • Reconcile vendor statements versus A/P aging report
  • File A/P statements and invoices
  • Issue checks to vendors according to payment schedules
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Maintain a robust filing system for ease of finding posted/paid invoices
Requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
