Responsibilities

As a Charge Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Coordinate interdisciplinary teamwork efforts of surgeons, registered nurses, surgical technicians, and ancillary staff in the provision or pre and post-op care of patients undergoing surgical intervention.
  • Assume the administrative responsibility of the Center in the absence of the Nurse Manager and Administrator.
  • Direct activities within the ASC.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current Nursing License in the State of Kansas.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS, PALS certifications.
  • A working knowledge of surgical and aseptic technique.

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • Two years of experience.
