Welder - 2nd Shift Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Morgan Truck Body LLC, a leading manufacturer of truck bodies in North America. As a Welder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a variety of welding equipment to join metal parts together
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate welding
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
  • Examine welds for defects and take corrective action as necessary
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Requirements:
  • 6 months of welding experience or equivalent training
  • Ability to pass a weld test
  • Proficiency in mild steel and galvanneal welding
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
