Chief Inspector

Unilode is seeking a highly skilled Chief Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our repair operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all repair operations are conducted in accordance with pertinent FAA regulations, Unilode's Quality Manual/Procedures, and customer air carrier requirements.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all articles delivered and maintained by the repair station are properly recorded and staged from receipt to delivery in their airworthy/serviceable condition.
• Inspection and Oversight: Perform and have oversight of inspection activity, ensuring compliance with pertinent FAA regulations, manufacturer's technical data/approved supplements, RSM/QCM, and customer requirements.
• Reporting and Documentation: Report all quality-related issues to management and ensure accurate and timely creation of work orders.
• Repair and Maintenance: Conduct preliminary, hidden damage, in-progress, and final inspections/RTS of aircraft articles processed by the repair station, and perform repairs when necessary.

• A&P License required.
• 2+ years practical experience in aviation maintenance preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, including written and oral.
• Ability to make quality decisions and effectively solve problems.
• Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to interface with computers.
• Ability to read technical publications and drawings.
