We are seeking a highly skilled Copy Supervisor to join our team at MRM. This is an exciting opportunity for a brand steward and category champion to lead daily creative execution of projects across brands/portfolio.
- Responsible for the strategic direction of projects, including writing, adapting from core materials, reviewing projects, incorporating comments, referencing, and annotating.
- Serves as the resident expert on the brand, disease state, clinical trials, and data, as well as competitive products.
- Presents creative work and ideas with art partners to clients.
- Attends MLR meetings, noting direction and application of changes to other pieces.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Editing, Project Management, Art, and Account Management.
- Begins supervising direct reports by overseeing workload, creative output, providing regular feedback, and aiding in career development.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical copy supervisory experience within a fast-paced agency setting.
- Pharmaceutical copywriting experience is essential.
- A compelling portfolio included with your application.
- Solid presentation skills.
- Proven ability to engage in creative conversations internally and with clients.
- Motivation to seek/gain additional creative opportunities and/or work on new business pitches.
- Proactive about expanding knowledge of trends so you can share new ideas with your team.
- Autonomous, yet knowing when and how to raise questions or issues to your manager.
Estimated salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year based on industry standards and location.
