Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Avionics/Elec Tech Sr to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems on aircraft.
  • Lead and train personnel to support company cross-training goals and ensure a safety-conscious, quality-oriented, skilled workforce.
  • Teach the installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems per Engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals.
  • Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshoot, and teach troubleshooting processes/concepts to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems.
  • Oversee the performance and compliance with engineering changes and modifications as required.
  • Set up and operate necessary test equipment, conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
  • Enforce the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Six (6) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four (4) years related experience.
  • A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
  • Other FCC License preferred.
  • Other NCATT preferred.
