Mercyhealth is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Mercyhealth Roscoe Clinic in Roscoe, IL. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced urgent care/emergency room setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain active status in assigned modalities, including CT/Xray and CT/MRI
  • Assist with clinical leadership and complete projects as requested by the department coordinator
  • Perform procedures with accuracy and precision, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Collaborate with patients to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure
  • Select and operate imaging equipment and accessories to successfully perform procedures
  • Position patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort
  • Prepare and administer contrast media as necessary, start and maintain intravenous access when required

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Two to four years of experience as a technologist in one of the assigned modalities
  • ARRT registration in Radiography required; registration in a second modality CT or MRI within a year of hire
  • IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois; WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin
  • BLS/CPR certification within 90 days of hire
