About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Stewart's Shops. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on refrigeration and HVAC equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with refrigeration and HVAC systems, using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Work with minimal supervision, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that maintenance tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work as needed to support maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in HVAC/Refrigeration maintenance a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC/Refrigeration maintenance, preferably in a retail or commercial setting.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights, as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
