Job Title: Automotive Porter / Lot Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Automotive Porter at Blasius KIA. As an Automotive Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of our dealership lot, ensuring an optimal experience for both customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Preparation: Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for display or delivery.
  • Lot Organization: Arrange vehicles in an organized and visually appealing manner, maximizing space and accessibility.
  • Customer Service: Assist customers by directing them to appropriate departments and providing basic information about vehicle locations and features.
  • Vehicle Movement: Safely drive and park vehicles within the dealership lot, showroom, and service area.
  • Detailing: Perform basic detailing tasks, such as washing and vacuuming vehicles, to maintain their appearance.
  • Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of vehicles for damage or issues, reporting findings to the appropriate departments.
  • Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to ensure vehicles are ready for test drives and meet customer expectations.
  • Maintenance Assistance: Support the service department by moving vehicles to and from the service area and providing assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Valid Driver's License with a Clean Driving Record: Required.
  • Previous Experience in a Similar Role: Preferred but not required.
  • Ability to Operate Both Automatic and Manual Transmission Vehicles: Required.
  • Strong Organizational and Time-Management Skills: Required.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills: Required.
  • Physical Ability to Perform Tasks Such as Lifting, Bending, and Standing for Extended Periods: Required.
