SLP - Speech Language Pathologist Position

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc has been engaged by a trusted client in Louisiana to recruit a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for their independent community hospital with excellent benefits. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work primarily in an outpatient setting with occasional inpatient coverage as needed, serving primarily pediatric patients and occasional adults.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluates patients upon referral
Integrates data from various assessment techniques to create a customized treatment plan including short-term and long-term goals
Provides safe and effective speech therapy treatment incorporating physical, mental, social, and emotional components to achieve improved quality of life and a sense of independence
Demonstrates the ability to apply accurate therapeutic principles and practices
Completes documentation timely to maximize compensation of speech therapy treatment
Qualifications:
Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Louisiana required
BLS certification within 30 days of employment
1-year of experience preferred
