Job Opportunity: Laboratory Chemist

Tradebe Environmental Services is a global leader in environmental services, and we are seeking a skilled Laboratory Chemist to join our team. As a Laboratory Chemist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our environmental services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct analytical testing, including pH, moisture content, oxidation, and titration, to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Process waste samples daily, including fuel compatibility, bomb calorimetry, GC analysis, and metals analysis.
  • Perform daily calibration of laboratory equipment, such as calorimeters, pH meters, GC-MS, and GC-FID.
  • Provide expertise in instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable EPA testing methods and requirements.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma with a strong scientific background required; college courses or a degree in a science-related field highly preferred.
  • Willingness to work in an industrial setting with limited outdoor exposure and handle hazardous and non-hazardous wastes using appropriate PPE.
  • Ability to wear a face respirator when needed.
  • Strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
