About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Music Therapist to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a Music Therapist, you will be responsible for providing creative art therapies to patients, including music, art, and dance-movement therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and deliver music, art, and dance-movement therapy sessions for patients in skilled facilities, acute rehab, and outpatient settings.
  • Design and implement music, art, and dance-movement therapy programs in consultation with clients and site administrators to meet client goals and objectives.
  • Assess client needs and disorders using artistic and horticultural processes, and analyze client data to draw conclusions and make recommendations for therapy.
  • Document patient participation and reactions during therapy sessions and evaluate therapeutic effects.
  • Collaborate with other professionals on the client's treatment team to develop, coordinate, and integrate treatment plans.
Requirements
  • BS or higher in Music Therapy from an AMTA-approved college or university.
  • Music Therapist-Board Certified (MT-BC) required.
  • 0-2 years of clinical practice experience, with 1 year preferred.
