Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Instructional Paraprofessional to join our team at Duval County Public School. As an Instructional Paraprofessional, you will provide critical support to classroom teachers in general education instructional settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist classroom teachers with instruction and discipline in general education settings
  • Provide small group tutoring and instruction to students
  • Grade papers and perform other classroom duties as assigned by the teacher
  • Assist with developing, implementing, and evaluating classroom behavior management plans
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the site administrator, including assistance with parental contacts, ordering supplies, and student record keeping
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of 60 semester hours or a passing score on the ETS/Praxis Paraprofessional examination
