Teaching Opportunity at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health

We are seeking a Certified Teacher to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a Certified Teacher, you will work with students in grades K-12 who are living with emotional, mental, and behavioral health challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement therapeutic instructional programs for individuals served on campus.
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team to design individualized plans for each student.
  • Provide academic support and instruction to students in various content areas.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  • GAPSC Certification - Certified Teacher (Middle or High School various content: Math, Science, Social Studies or English/Language Arts); Grades 4-8 or 6-12.
  • Special Education Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support strategies preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and background checks required along with Drug Screen.
