As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in our therapeutic team, collaborating closely with Occupational Therapists and Mental Health Clinicians to deliver a comprehensive developmental approach to care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of each child's assessments and related documentation to identify their specific needs upon intake.
  • Perform initial Speech Language Pathology evaluations for children in consultation with the Senior SLP Clinician as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to develop individualized treatment plans, establishing targeted speech and language goals.
  • Deliver direct speech and language services to children on the autism spectrum, utilizing a developmental framework to support their progress.
  • Continuously monitor and document each child's progress, maintaining accurate records in their Electronic Health Record and communicating updates to the team and families.
  • Engage in team meetings and participate in ongoing supervision and professional development.
  • Provide mentorship and support to newly hired Speech Language Pathologists as they integrate into the team.
Qualifications:
  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license in New Jersey.
  • Strong commitment to learning and applying the Developmental Model through training and reflective practice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Genuine passion for working with children on the autism spectrum.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a trans-disciplinary team.
  • Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule.
Educational Background:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current state SLP license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • ASHA certification.
Specialization:
  • Pediatrics.
