Job Summary:
Nurse First is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Bismarck, North Dakota. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during interventional procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angioplasty, stenting, and other vascular procedures
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, including preparing and cleaning equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
