About the Role

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our dynamic team at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. As a Pediatric NICU Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional nutrition care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nutrition-focused physical exams and develop personalized nutrition plans for patients in the NICU and Maternal Nutrition units.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions.
  • Precept dietetic interns and support the Clinical Nutrition Manager in interfacing with internship faculty.
  • Participate in departmental, clinical, and other meetings related to areas of practice.
  • Utilize electronic medical records within the practice environment and be familiar with the Nutrition Care Process & Model and Epic Electronic System.
  • Drive outstanding patient satisfaction results and process improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian with 1 year of experience and Licensed as a Dietitian in the state of TX.
  • Previous experience in the NICU.
  • Strong focus on driving outstanding patient satisfaction results and driving process improvement activities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
