About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a PRN Home Health Specialist. As a Speech Language Pathologist with AccentCare, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their homes, providing personalized care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in their homes, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patients' communication and swallowing skills, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on communication and swallowing techniques, as well as strategies for managing symptoms and improving overall health.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience in speech-language pathology.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • CPR certification.
