We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at the Residence Inn/Springhill Suites Clearwater Beach.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service standards.
  • Perform all necessary setup and side work as assigned.
  • Provide detailed information about menu items and make recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Verify identification and age requirements of customers, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Mix traditional and creative cocktails, using fresh ingredients and adhering to recipes.
  • Process payment from customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Clean glasses and bar utensils, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Able to work AM and PM shifts, including weekends and holidays, with flexibility to meet business needs.
  • Hold valid Safe Food Handling and Smart Serve certificates, demonstrating commitment to food safety and quality.
  • Effective communication skills in English, enabling seamless interaction with guests and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate self-starting personality, ability to work independently, and even disposition under pressure.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, reflecting positively on the company image.
  • Willingness to pitch-in and assist coworkers with their duties, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to effectively handle guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner, upholding high standards of customer service.
  • Proficient in accessing and accurately inputting information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and ingredient handling.
