Job Overview

Stark Tech is on the lookout for a dedicated and innovative Power Systems Integration Expert to enhance our team. This role requires a solid understanding of both AC and DC power distribution systems, along with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the capability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment are essential.

Are you the right fit?

The successful candidate will be tasked with the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of both new and existing Power Monitoring Systems, encompassing both hardware and software components. This role will involve configuring these systems to effectively communicate with metering hardware using specialized software tools. A strong familiarity with industry-standard testing equipment, as well as the ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and electrical schematics, is crucial. The Integration Expert will also be responsible for inspecting, installing, replacing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining outdated power meters across various client locations.

Key to Success in This Role:

This position demands a high degree of organization, effective time management, and strong communication skills. Candidates must be comfortable working in potentially hazardous environments and should be well-versed in safety protocols associated with high voltage electrical equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in electronics, electrical theory, or military training.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or customer service technician with electrical, electro-mechanical, or electronics-related equipment.
  • Experience in emergency power generation and distribution, including switchgear and generator control applications is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with HMI/SCADA programming, troubleshooting, and basic configuration, including graphics and alarm screens development.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, and AC clamp meters.
  • Ability to produce business reports, correspondence, and procedures, along with effective presentation skills.
  • Safe driving skills and vehicle operation experience.
  • Knowledge of low and medium voltage switchgear.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using handheld devices like smartphones and tablets.
