Copper Ridge Nursing & Assisted Living Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Preventionist. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented RN with strong leadership skills and expertise in infection prevention and control. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating staff development programs, as well as overseeing our infection prevention and control program.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assess training needs of nursing staff and develop, implement, and evaluate staff development programs
  • Oversee the general application of infection control guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with leadership to plan, coordinate, and conduct training related to federal, state, and local regulations
  • Provide ongoing education related to quality management systems and quality improvement initiatives to facility staff
  • Initiate and monitor performance improvement plans in the quality management system
  • Participate in clinical risk identification, planning, and process improvement initiatives
