Role Overview

The Senior Integration Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive integration support to governmental entities while overseeing contract engineering operations across various organizational sectors for system or capability enhancements. This position entails leading the strategic planning of engineering and integration initiatives and addressing any arising issues. The Specialist collaborates closely with Government Office and Division Leaders to prioritize tasks and allocate essential resources for effective execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Government Office and Division Leaders in evaluating, documenting, and monitoring new engineering requirements while facilitating Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to inform both Government and Contractor teams regarding systems engineering and integration efforts.
  • Support resource planning, coordination, and analytical tasks for the Government.
  • Coordinate project timelines to align with established strategic objectives.
  • Organize major systems engineering Program Reviews and Control Gate Reviews, including scheduling meetings and preparing necessary briefings and presentations.
  • Contribute to the development of documents, records, forms, reports, and plans pertaining to systems engineering and integration activities.
  • Oversee change management processes to align resources, identify priority shifts, and determine required skill sets.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • A minimum of 18 years of technical experience is mandatory. If this experience includes a role as a Lead Integrator, it may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 18 years of experience in engineering, design, and analysis of IT or related systems throughout all phases of design, development, analysis, documentation, and the establishment of standards and guidelines for tasks performed.
  • 18 years of professional experience in government or industry within the DoD/IC Acquisition Process or PPBES.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraph examination.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering, including processes, tools, and languages.
  • Certification in Software Development Frameworks.
  • Experience in integrating solutions utilizing Cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience in integrating solutions with structured and unstructured Big Data.
  • Experience in integrating solutions leveraging Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
  • A strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.

Salary Range:

$146,000 - $234,000. This range reflects the typical salary for this position based on experience and other relevant factors.
