Director of Rehab Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Rehab to join our team at HealthPRO Heritage. As a key member of our rehabilitation department, you will be responsible for managing and administering all aspects of rehabilitation services for our assisted living and independent living facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clinical caseload and demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and understanding of rehabilitation services.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations related to therapy service delivery.
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance the existing therapy program, including fitness, dementia programming, and other activities.
  • Supervise and manage clinical therapy staff, promoting a team atmosphere and ensuring high-quality care.
  • Represent HealthPRO Heritage in a professional and courteous manner, communicating effectively with customers, staff, and residents.
  • Participate in quality improvement programs, patient care meetings, and community events to promote therapy services.
  • Conduct performance appraisals, documentation audits, and other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in an allied health field or higher.
  • Valid state professional licensure.
  • Ability to maintain ongoing continuing education and professional development.
