Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all areas of the store, including customer service, sales floor operations, and inventory management. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure that our store meets company standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Treat all customers with respect and provide a high level of customer service.
    • Ensure that all customers are satisfied with their shopping experience.
  • Store Operations
    • Manage and supervise all areas of the store, including sales floor operations, inventory management, and customer service.
    • Ensure that all store operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage and control inventory levels to ensure that the store is always stocked with the right products.
    • Ensure that all inventory is accurately counted and recorded.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and manage a team of retail associates to ensure that they are providing excellent customer service and meeting sales goals.
    • Provide coaching and training to associates to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Loss Prevention
    • Assist in the prevention of loss and shrinkage by monitoring store operations and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed.
  • Merchandise Processing
    • Ensure that all merchandise is processed and presented in a way that is visually appealing and easy to shop.
    • Manage and control merchandise processing to ensure that it is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Two or more years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Ability to supervise and manage a team of retail associates.
    • Ability to manage and control inventory levels.
    • Ability to identify and prevent loss and shrinkage.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and to adapt to changing situations. The position also requires the ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift up to 25 pounds.
