Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join their team in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
  • Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure consistency and quality of images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in an ultrasound modality.
  • ARDMS certification in abdominal and obstetric/gynecologic ultrasound.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

This is a 16-week contract position with a 40-hour workweek. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, with occasional on-call shifts. The facility is a 99-bed, regional acute-care hospital with a state-of-the-art imaging department.
