Job Title: Weekend Housekeeper

Vivant is a revolutionary hospitality company that offers unique travel experiences through innovative service and inspiring accommodations.

We are seeking an honest, reliable, and hard-working housekeeper to join our team. As a weekend housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and quality in our guest units.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, changing linen and terry, window washing, surface polishing, balconies, trash/recycling removal, carpet vacuuming, floor mopping, dusting.
  2. Restock apartments with soaps, shampoos, kitchen/apartment items, and branded Vivant collateral.
  3. Ensure all furniture, appliances, and amenities are clean and in working order.
  4. Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
  5. Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
  6. Restock Housekeeping carts/closets with linens, terry, and consumables in preparation for next day.
  7. Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms.
  8. Gather necessary cleaning supplies and linen from a distributed or central location.
  9. Travel to locations distributed throughout the city.
  10. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, security issues, or damage to Vivant property.
  11. Use a mobile application or technology, smartphone/device required.
  12. Return supplies and equipment to a distributed or central location.
  13. Conduct special cleaning projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A professional with a positive attitude and ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
  • Previous housekeeping experience.
  • A professional who can embrace the use of mobile applications and technology.
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of sanitation products, cleaning techniques, and methods.
  • Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment.
  • Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull required load (usually about 40 lbs).
  • This role requires regular access to a reliable smartphone, reliable transportation (vehicle), and a willingness to travel between properties on a daily basis when working.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Must work weekends.
  • This is a part-time, weekend-only position.
