Key Responsibilities- Lead Optometric Care: Ensure all patients receive the highest quality optometric care by performing clinical protocols, maximizing results, and practicing growth through strong partnerships with the MOD, SMM, and team.
- Drive Business Growth: Execute operational excellence and winning results in partnership with the MOD and store team, demonstrating commitment to exceed results through strong competency in KPI management and high accountability.
- Brand Ambassador: Ensure the Brand is known as the leading optical provider within the community, operating as a successful stakeholder to all leaders within the organization and local market.
- Patient-Centric Service: Place the patient/customer first and deliver excellent service, striving to exceed expectations on all KPIs, and conveying a commitment to providing unsurpassed patient service through ensuring staff performs the following service process steps:
- Address all patients/customers' visual lifestyle needs
- Make eyewear recommendations based on patients/customers' needs
- Explain each step of the eye exam; listen carefully to patients/customers
- Utilize available tools and visual aids to summarize and ensure patients understand each aspect of their vision, eye health, and overall well-being
- Communicate effectively with patients the need for annual eye exams; ensure all patients are appointed in TAB for their next eye exam
- Conduct all services in accordance with protocol and accepted standards of care
- Accurate Diagnosis and Recommendations: Ensure all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
- Positive Doctor-Patient Relationship: Establish a positive doctor-patient relationship.
- Technology Utilization: Utilize and leverage effectively all technology to deliver unsurpassed patient/customer experiences.
- Office Systems Maintenance: Ensure office systems are maintained.
- Licensure and Continuing Education: Maintain State Licensure in good standing and practices to the full scope of that license, responsible for maintaining Continuing Education requirements.
- Training and Guidance: Provide effective training and guidance to team members, making use of Company-provided programs.
- Feedback and Motivation: Deliver clear, motivating, and constructive feedback in a timely manner to all associates.
- Culture and Motivation: Create a positive culture linked to the corporate culture; identify what motivates each individual and direct conversations and actions appropriately.
- Associate Decision Making: Encourage associate decision making at the level closest to the patient.
- Partnerships and Leadership: Maximize partnerships through leadership, participation, and involvement.
- Office Appearance and Safety: Take pride in the appearance of the office and maintain a safe working environment for all associates/patients.
