Position Overview

The Senior Marketing Executive is a high-level role responsible for guiding, strategizing, and executing all marketing and communication efforts within the organization.

This role requires a blend of strategic insight, innovative thinking, and creativity to enhance awareness of Victory Junction's mission and its significant impact.

The Senior Marketing Executive formulates marketing and communication strategies that elevate Victory Junction's brand, bolster fundraising and recruitment initiatives, and engage targeted demographics.

This position leads, manages, and cultivates a dynamic culture within the marketing team.

The individual will be accountable for crafting the marketing and communications plan, managing the budget, and delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies with clear, measurable objectives for the short, medium, and long term.
  • Manage the marketing budget to ensure alignment with strategic goals while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the creation and coordination of all marketing materials and communications across various departments.
  • Lead the development and stewardship of the Victory Junction brand, ensuring adherence to brand standards both internally and externally.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities for marketing team members.
  • Implement and manage the crisis communications strategy for Victory Junction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to devise strategies that enhance fundraising, recruitment, and brand visibility.
  • Build and maintain media relationships to secure local, regional, and national media coverage.
  • Contribute to a positive and professional workplace culture.
  • Promote and uphold a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least five years in a management role.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing, communication, and public relations principles.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing strategies in collaboration with organizational leaders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise successful teams.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Capacity to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
