Job Summary

The PRN Oncology Infusion Pharmacist will provide clinical pharmacy services to patients at our Seidman Cancer Centers on the East Side of Cleveland. This role requires a strong understanding of oncology medications and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate order verification and dispensing of medications
  • Minimize order turnaround time and ensure timely delivery of medications
  • Monitor and document medication therapy, including medication reconciliation and inventory control
  • Adhere to Hospital Formulary policies and local and system policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including documentation of clinical activities and adherence to local and system policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (or Pharm D degree)
  • Previous hospital experience with emphasis on computerized unit dose, sterile products, and patient-focused clinical skills (preferred)
  • Effective communication skills and proficiency in computer and office equipment, automated compounding systems
  • Registered Pharmacist (R.Ph) in the State of Ohio and licensed practitioner of health sciences profession in the State of Ohio
Work Environment

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to push, pull, and climb occasionally is also required. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and teamwork skills.
