Business Professor

The School of Business at Southern Adventist University is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach face-to-face courses on campus in one or more of the following areas: accounting, finance, business analytics, and other general business-related courses.

We are looking for dedicated, dependable, and compassionate individuals who love students, love teaching, and preferably have some teaching experience.

• Course Instruction: Prepare and deliver high-quality instructional materials and instruct students in business-related courses.
• Assessment and Grading: Perform duties associated with assessing student progress in a timely manner, including grading and required record keeping based on university guidelines.
• Class Preparation: Use strong organizational and time management skills to teach well-prepared classes.
• Mentorship: Mentor and nurture students with a compassionate spirit for the purpose of supporting and encouraging them academically and spiritually.

A Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in a business discipline is required.

Salary is based on a per-course fee as determined by the University. No benefits are offered for this position.

Unofficial transcripts should be from the college or university that verifies minimum qualifications for the position. Upon an offer of employment, official college transcripts will be required.

An expressed commitment to Jesus Christ, the teachings and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and a SDA church member in good and regular standing is preferred but not required.
