Job Summary

Broward College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Radiation Therapy courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and contributing to the development of the Radiation Therapy program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Radiation Therapy courses to students in a variety of settings, including classroom and clinical environments.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's learning objectives and industry standards.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students, including grading and evaluation of student performance.
  • Contribute to the development of the Radiation Therapy program, including curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation efforts.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives, including professional development opportunities and committee work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a valid Florida Radiographer license.
  • Prior teaching experience in a post-secondary setting, preferably in Radiation Therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
  • Experience with curriculum development and program assessment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Experience with teaching in a variety of settings, including online and hybrid environments.
