Job Description:

Univera Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Software Development Intern. This is a 10-week paid internship that provides undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, attend development workshops, and network with our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of software applications using object-oriented programming languages.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase.
  • Collaborate with our team to create manufactured data using GenRocket or internal tools.
  • Develop and maintain test cases to ensure the quality of our software.
  • Document software development processes and procedures.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the development of our software.
  • Work with a mentor to support key strategic projects and develop your skills.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages, code reviews, and software testing.
  • Knowledge of databases and queries (SQL, noSQL).
