About the RoleThe Market Chief Medical Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical and population health strategies to improve health outcomes and reduce costs. This role will work closely with our leadership team to drive business growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical and population health strategies to improve health outcomes and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with our leadership team to drive business growth and expansion.
- Lead and manage a team of clinical and operational staff to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including providers, payers, and regulatory agencies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform business decisions.
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification in area of specialty.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in South Carolina and any other state in which he/she works.
- 5+ years of practice experience in his/her area of medical specialty.
- 5+ years of progressive medical leadership and management experience is required, with managed care organization leadership experience as a Medical Director or CMO role preferred.
