About the Role:
O&G Industries, a leading construction company, is seeking a skilled Custodial Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Southbury. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment within our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Empty and clean trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly to prevent any health hazards.
- Restock supplies in bathrooms and common areas to ensure a smooth operation.
- Monitor cleanliness and sanitation levels across the facility to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop work area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of janitorial experience with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Knowledge of methods for maintaining, cleaning, and preserving various surfaces.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to bend, kneel, or crouch while performing duties.
- Must be able to work safely in an environment containing chemicals, cleaning materials, dust, and noise.
