Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team. As an FNP with MainStreet Family Care, you will be responsible for providing primary medical care to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Your duties will include diagnosing and treating common illnesses, performing minor procedures, and suturing.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
- Perform minor procedures, including toenail removal and foreign object removal
- Suture wounds
- Splint injuries
- Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management
- Review x-rays and provide interpretations
- Treat children of all ages
- Provide occupational medicine services
- Work in a telemedicine setting
Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
- MSN or higher education required
- DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred
