We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Interventional Radiology nurse. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and challenging environment.
About the Role- This 13-week assignment offers a unique chance to develop your skills and expertise in interventional radiology nursing, working closely with esteemed professionals in the field.
- You will be responsible for providing critical care to cardiac patients while assisting the Interventional Radiologist, Vascular Surgeon, and Endovascular Neurosurgeon during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Provide education to patients and family members, promoting understanding and empowerment.
- Insert and remove intravenous lines, demonstrating expertise in patient care.
- Administer medication, including moderate sedation, maintaining patient safety and well-being.
- Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures, utilizing your observational skills and knowledge.
- Oversee the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures, guaranteeing a seamless experience.
- Provide post-procedure monitoring, ensuring patients receive necessary care and support.
**Estimated Salary:** $1600 - 2400 per week, depending on qualifications and experience, this figure represents a gross estimate of hourly wages and reimbursements for meal, incidental, and housing expenses. Our recruiter will confirm your eligibility and provide additional details.
