About the Role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our team in the Inpatient Diagnostic Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images for medical interpretation, interacting with healthcare staff, and providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing radiographs for medical interpretation in the UAMS Inpatient Diagnostic Department
  • Entering information into the Radiology Information System
  • Processing Images in Computed Radiography System and reviewing images in PACS System
  • Assisting with patient intake and rooming
  • Communicating with patients, patient's family members, co-workers, and physicians
Requirements
  • Graduate from a two (2) year certificate program certified by the ASRT in Radiology Technology
  • Registered or eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Licensed or eligible for license by the State of Arkansas in Radiology Technology
  • CPR certified
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS Degree
  • More than one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or a related field
