We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Technician who can excel in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of mechanical principles, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for operating various equipment, including the packaging crane, stretch-wrapper, and forklift, while maintaining a high level of quality and productivity.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Achieve accuracy in verifying customer requirements by examining setup data.
  • Properly handle exception codes and choose the right packing supplies.
  • Process roll data for finished rolls at the packaging station.
  • Troubleshoot conveying systems.
  • Use the packaging crane efficiently and safely.
  • Manage data entry for both packing and stretch-wrapping stations.
  • Learn and operate the stretch-wrapper effectively in both manual and automatic modes.
  • Weigh finished pallets and confirm data.
  • Conduct regular housekeeping tasks and maintain a safe working space.
  • Communicate and interact effectively with other team members.
  • Accurately stack materials with a forklift.
  • Successfully operate the clamp truck.
  • Offer assistance in the Slitting Department when needed.
