About the Job

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate Direct Care Workers to join our team at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud.

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to make a difference in people's lives. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide personal care services to our clients, including bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, and other daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care services, including meal preparation, bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, and other daily living activities.
  • Assist with routine schedules, including sleep time, getting ready for work/appointments.
  • Increase clients' quality of life through recreational activities, community outings, leisure activities, reading to clients, playing games, etc.
  • Household cares: assist with laundry, cleanliness of living areas, and safe walkways/sidewalks.
  • Provide client behavior assistance, support & behavior modification according to the client Treatment Plans.
  • Develop and maintain a therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Provide medication administration to clients as directed by nursing staff and the treatment plan, as well as observe and keep accurate documentation.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • No experience necessary; willing to train.
