Job Summary

BrightView is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Crew Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our crew members, ensuring that tasks are completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining a high level of quality in our work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare landscape trucks for daily operations, including loading equipment and securing it for transport.
  • Operate vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a schedule and ensure that service expectations are met, communicating regularly with the Production Manager to ensure client needs are met or exceeded.
  • Surface customer problems or concerns and report back to the Production Manager, assisting in resolving issues with customer service when needed.
  • Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies, overseeing day-to-day site operations and delegating work to crew team members.
  • Provide feedback to the Production Manager on crew member performance, working with them to develop and train crew members.
  • Ensure equipment preventative maintenance is performed as needed, and equipment is in good working order, participating in branch meetings as directed.
  • Accurately capture and turn in crew time logs, log equipment usage and maintenance cycles, and perform maintenance on equipment, including washing, greasing, and conducting EDVIR on assigned vehicles.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to operate various vehicles, with or without trailers.
  • BrightView Equipment certifications.
  • Experience in a landscape-related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership among the team and with peers.
