As a Senior Physician Assistant at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care under the direction of a supervising physician. Your expertise will be essential in managing patients in various settings, including the office, hospital, ED, and perioperative environments.
Key Responsibilities- Examine patients, perform comprehensive physical examinations, and compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical or diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care.
- Provide patient and family education on compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with the supervising physician, manager, and other department members on performance improvement activities.
- Minimum three (3) years of previous experience as a physician assistant in the last five (5) years.
- Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program.
- Physician Assistant License (California) required at hire.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Physician Assistant National Certificate required at hire.
- Advanced Certification in specialty area, preferred.
