Position: IT Support/PC Deployment Specialist

Role Summary
The IT Support Specialist is an intermediate-level role responsible for addressing a range of technical issues typically encountered in an end-user computing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct basic to moderately complex troubleshooting and repair tasks associated with end-user devices, including PCs, desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers.
  • Provide dedicated support to identified VIP clients.
  • Respond to change management requests, including the installation of new PC equipment and offering desk-side support.
  • Execute Install/Move/Add or Change (IMAC) activities.
  • Carry out all assigned desk-side support tasks.
  • Exhibit exceptional technical and professional service skills consistently.
  • Meet established customer satisfaction levels and operational metrics as outlined in guidelines.
  • Maintain proactive communication with end-users and service desk personnel regarding arrival times, repair estimates, and repair status.
  • Adhere to all documented service operations policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties or certifications may be assigned based on business needs.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:

  • Technical school certification or equivalent experience of 1-2 years is typically required.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and hardware systems is essential.
  • Additional customer-specific certifications or training may be necessary.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to follow instructions and processes with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to lift and move various computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Possession of a basic repair toolkit is required.
