Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment for taking radiographic images following established procedures.
  • Instruct patients regarding procedures and observe their vital signs during examination.
  • Follow prescribed safety standards in operating radiologic equipment and maintain accurate radiology records.
  • Process routine paperwork and files reports, and maintain examination rooms and stock necessary medical and radiologic supplies.
  • Clean and make minor adjustments to radiologic equipment, and schedule routine maintenance.
  • Participate in training employees in equipment operation, patient movement, and quality assurance.
  • Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested.
  • Enhance professional growth through education programs, conferences, and workshops.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiological Sciences or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
  • One year of experience as a radiologic technologist preferred.
  • Current state licensure and certification (ARRT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) required.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position at Christus Health, a leading healthcare provider. The work schedule will be TBD.
