Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Expert to join our team at Vaco. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in providing financial expertise to our clients and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, estimates, and significant changes in financial statements.
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Assist in developing and implementing financial plans and budgets to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects, such as system implementation, process improvements, and mergers and acquisitions, to drive business growth and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a combination of corporate accounting and consulting experience.
  • Certifications: CPA certification highly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial close processes, internal control, and SOX compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to take on new projects and drive process improvement.
