Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. This role will be responsible for supervising the Inventory Control team, maintaining inventory records, and establishing procedures to meet company and customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead the Inventory Control team to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement procedures to meet company and customer commitments, including continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train and motivate team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and enforce company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 2 years of related experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment.
  • Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience.
Physical Demands
  • Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
  • Handle or manage tools or equipment.
  • Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.
