Electroencephalogram Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electroencephalogram (EEG) technician to join our team at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital in Colorado. As an EEG technologist, you will be responsible for performing EEG tests in an outpatient setting and at patients' bedsides.

• Apply patient electrodes according to the International 10-20 system
• Perform routine EEG testing and review patient histories
• Educate patients about procedures and observe ongoing clinical and technical changes
• Monitor and document patient condition and respond to adverse reactions
• Edit and forward test results to attending physicians

You will work in a fast-paced environment and require critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This role is part-time, with 72 hours worked per pay period (two weeks). The hourly salary range is $24.11 - $36.17, dependent on relevant experience.

• High school diploma or GED; preferred associate's degree
• Meet ABRET requirements for entry pathways to become a registered EEG technologist
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or equivalent
