Job Summary:

The Pediatric Nurse coordinates patient care, following established standards of practice within the State and Federal guidelines. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign checks, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist with specimen collection and testing as necessary.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in performance improvement and risk management activities.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in CT.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
