As a key member of our production team, the Lead Assembler will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. This position requires a strong background in assembly operations, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of assembly specialists in producing high-quality products, adhering to strict quality standards and production schedules.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, purchasing, and quality assurance, to resolve complex issues and improve overall production processes.
  • Train and mentor junior assembly specialists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in lean events and six sigma activities to drive continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of production processes, including assembly, inspection, and testing.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless production operations.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in assembly operations, with a strong background in production management and process improvement.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
